I live in Stevenage, Herts (UK) with my wife Paula, who hails from Newtownards, Northern Ireland and our four young children Chloe, Alfie, Nula and Lucas. Paula and I got married by The King, Elvis Presley in Las Vegas in July 2004, and look forward to getting back there again for more fun and frolics.

This purpose of Fuzzy Outline is to enable me to play unrestricted with design and code. Working for companies, you have many constraints on what you do, corporate branding, colours and imagery dictate many aspects of your creativity. I have had sites before, but they have generally degraded into nothing of substance whatsoever. So here I get to play about, try different things and generally create without boundaries. I often like what I do, and sometimes not. That is the joy of a personal site.
So, that's the purpose, let's get into the nuts and bolts of the site:
This site is meant to be as accessible as possible. Please read my Accessibility Policy
I disabled the comments because I could, besides, with my traffic I'll not get many comments anyway. If you want to contact me or comment on something I have written, please use my contact form.
I'm a Web User Interface designer, developer and consultant who enjoys working on site designs using both Photoshop and code. I have a company, Web Standards Design Ltd and through this I get to work with various clients. I have had a variety of experience in internet development, both creative and technical. I follow accessibility and usability guidelines strictly, and always code with them in mind. I believe in clean, clear presentation, with clarity, good design and most importantly valid, standards compliant code.
I love music, both listening and playing. I play both acoustic and electric guitar, mostly Oasis, Beatles some Pink Floyd and any other decent Rock n Roll.
I enjoy travel, meeting new people and visiting new places. I enjoy a bit of telly, and like to follow West Ham from the comforts of the armchair. And I love being with the kids, they are a constant source of surprise and wonder.
