Tesco.com
Redevelopment of the Tesco.com website. Initial XHTML/CSS development has been done using SSI's on an Apache based development platform. Further development is then done using XML, XHTML and Visual Studio to create the various parts of the new grocery website. The site is still in development at this time and is not live yet.
Web Standards Design Ltd
Pet project developing and designing my limited company website. A bit of an ongoing project when I have time, so is in a bit of a state of change. Hand coded XHTML and CSS, with a sprinkling of design.
Cheapflights.ca
Developed using ASP.NET Master Pages which allow for template based web programming. Coded using XHTML 1.0 Transitional and using CSS for positioning and design. The site has been redeveloped and redesigned from the ground up.

Wallis - womens fashion brand from Arcadia Group.
The back-end runs on IBM WebSphere, which serves up the same pre-written XHTML 1.0 Transitional for all brands.
Applying a CSS Zengarden approach, the unique design for each site was created using CSS.
Topshop.com
Topshop - womens fashion brand from Arcadia Group. The design was provided by Poke and the integration into WebSphere was done jointly between Poke and the Ecommerce Development Team. All maintenance and updating now done in-house by the development team.
The back-end runs on IBM WebSphere, which serves up the same pre-written XHTML 1.0 Transitional for all brands.
The same CSS Zengarden approach was used as with Topman and Wallis.

Mr Coolbeans
A site designed and developed by me for Mr Coolbeans, the fantastic childrens entertainer. Using Photoshop for the initial design, I then created the site using XHTML 1.1 Strict and CSS2 for maximum search engine optimisation (SEO), light page size and accessibility.
The Mr Coolbeans website has recently won an Accessibility Awareness Award from www.accesskeys.org.

Whilst working full-time at Thomson Directories I redesigned the UI for their popular ThomsonLocal.com Business Finder.

Also while at Thomson Directories I redesigned the user interface for WebFinder.com, a pay-per-click business search engine that generates 200 million
UK searches per month via affiliate search engines such as MSN, Skype, Tiscali and Google.
Twizzle Parties
Redesign and redevelopment of the Twizzle Parties and Events website. It uses the QnE CMS Accessible Content Management System from the Guild of Accessible Web Designers for easy and accessible content updates.
